i took CS in sec sch and i was the top few in chem in my class last yr

take combine sci but fail = stupid
take combine sci but fail = stupid (with the fact tt they noe they are)
take pure sci but fail = stupid (with the fact tt they think they clever cos they taking pure sci)
take pur sci and pass = clever
btw i'm the last type. hahaha.
anyway actually goin to jc really doesnt mean u cleverer. a lot of my frin jus go jc cos either they can go or their parents wan them to go. those who realise the fact tt goin jc is jus wasting time will choose other path when they can start working after they get their cert.
thought mus admit tt overall jc ppl get better o level result, they jus noe how to study.
in addition, many jc like those yjc, are for students who don score well but die die don noe y still wan go jc and take and fail their a level. like budget handphone which hav quantity of features but no quality. -
Can we think out of the box for a moment? Going to JC doesn't mean it's a privilege of the clever tribe, going to ITE colleges doesn't mean they are poor in academics and have no other options, going to poly doesn't mean they are not as good as the better academics inclined.
Me's a poly guaduate from Ngee Ann. My L1R4 for my Os was 9, good enough to go to JCs but me chose poly. In poly, me knew a few friends that were from JCs and ITEs, and listening to their stories can be aspiring. Of the JC friends me knew, they dropped out of the JC and had to choose poly to further their studies (by the way, the friend who dropped out was a straight As student in Os and were from ACJC), and my friend from ITE was an average student in Os but perserved in ITE and got enrolled into poly.
Academics results are just a gauge of knowledge, but in the end, it's still up to the individuals to strive further. -

DNT and Combined Sciences got problem meh.. wtf is ur problem? so u mean JC ppl only can come from branded secondary schools issit.. neighbourhood sec sch ppl oni can go poly ixxit... and taking such subjects has got nth to do wif intelligence. some clever students din make it to pure sci becoz they slacked.. and not becoz their stupid...
