  basically the pc gimme that i'm dyin but i dun wanna die... i wanna make ur life miserable.. feeling...

  so it's not your pc dying, it's the PC secondary components and OS dying.
  
  Boh liao then go and buy new CD/RW lo.
  
  Reformat your HDD and install XP again. Confirm as good as new le.

  the thing is..... after so much mafan.. the IT ppl dun wanna reformat.
  
  den dun have XP.. i'm using win 2k..
  
  they say gettin me a DVD Rom and DVD/RW
