your friend's summon is the number 4 one. must go, understand? if she want to save her face or what.. better to protect her assets and go to the court and put the man in jail! -
when the AG chambers charge someone...they have to try and make sure they succeed...because under singapore law...a person cannot be charged twice for the same offence...therefore...if the 2 victims dun manage to get their case across...they will not be allowed to do so again at a later date.
ur friend might be fine with that...but take note that it also means that if one fine day...she changes her mind and want to testify...she will be on her own...ie she will have a weaker case...
if ur friend is still fine with it...and if the accused commits some other more serious crimes...I dunno how is she going to live with herself...
