Nicotine occurs naturally in the tobacco. Tar is Total Aerosol Residue, the leftover on the filter from the combustion of the tobacco leaves. It is different from the tar that is used on the road although the name is the same. Tobacco quality makes the world of difference. If you don't believe, try a made in China cigarette. -
