  With more and more arms in the world adopting high velocity slap rounds and ammunitions manufacturers trying to produce 5.56mm high velocity rounds for M4 carbines and arms using 5.56mm calibre, would our current kevlar helmet be able to save our heads in times of crisis?

  sometimes it's a psychological thing....
  
  1. u'd fight more confidently knowing u have a kelvar helmet on top of u right?
  2. it may not protect u from headshots but it protects u from sharpnels and other stuff.
  
  u'll rather take the helmet any day....

  Yeah, me read that thread, but thinking of the fact of a simulated scenario when shots weezing above your heads are all those high velocity rounds, ever wonder even our helmet protects us from sharpnels and debris, won't be enough to hold it against this HV rounds?
