he said go to ITE while retaking maths, can mah defer for ite mahOriginally posted by Texcoco II:U can't jus retake one subject with a private sch, u hav to go to a MOE recognised private sch and take up a course up there with the one subject u take, or the CMPB will not accept it and call u up for NS
D7 To A1 ?Originally posted by EXCO:Exactly what happened to me 4 years ago. I got D7 for Maths, retook and got an A1.
I applied for deferment, but don't ask me under which category, I forgot.
Finished the retake, went to Poly, the rest is history.
Its not easy to take Os as a private, even if its only one subject. The stress is that if you fail again, you are gone. There is no margin for error, you must push yourself to score well. Having said that, it is entirely possible to score well.
Good luck![]()
its not that difficult to get A for Emaths.Originally posted by lalala1999:D7 To A1 ?

That is indeed really true... Just ensure you get your concepts right and then apply it. Score as many marks as possible... It's harder to score than to pass...Originally posted by Xcert:its not that difficult to get A for Emaths.
just have to understand what U are doing.
hmm i always thought it was after they were 18....Originally posted by mase101:So, its possible but not practical? Sighs, if only I'm a female without monthly cramps, but anyway, I have to confirm is it true that guys will be asked to pack their bags for NS when they're 17 this year and school-less and even their birthday are at December?
I can sort of understand valerieee. When I was cycling with them just now and heard they were talking about their Poly orientation camp, I felt totally out of place.
Oh well, it pays to be lazy at 'O' levels.
Good luck to you! All the best!Originally posted by valerieee:i totally regretted for failing my maths.had i passed it in the first place,i might have gotten a place in rp already.nvm i will work hard again this year then...
I can relate to that too....well...nothing much U can do about it for now...they are not wrong...neither are U....its just the circumstances...Originally posted by mase101:I can sort of understand valerieee. think it's like 17 and a half they ask u go pack your bags liao, the most u can nua at home is six months, can't defer any course that starts six months after the deadline they give u to deferOriginally posted by mase101:So, its possible but not practical?
