Problematic SingNet ADSL Broadband Service

I wonder if any of you have had issues using SingNet's ADSL broadband services?
One thing for sure, SingNet's Tech Support really sucks, as their number is so time consuming to get through because all their available techical support officers are busy.
Some of their ADSL modems they include in their subscription packages are also unreliable, particularly TECOM.
And when you finally do get to speak to a technical officer, they can only send someone down one week later. OMG!
This is one sure way to suffer high blood pressure!
Why is SingNet such a large government company, so sloppy???? -

They just leave this recorded message; "All our technical officers are busy at the moment, please hold on."
And you can hold like forever! -
no wonder...
when he say one week, it means within the next working week. cos today is sunday. and call at this time, i think he have no choice but to 'fu yan' and give u half past six answer cos there's nothing he can do except to leave a msg with their on-site technical ppl and wait.
strangely, i have no problems with them, and i do manage to get through after a while.... not more than 10mins... just give it a bit of time, put loudspeaker and wait lor.... it will get through... -

starhub isn't problem free too.. bottomline they are all problematic.

Yeah, I'm using maxonline 6500 but it has problems too.. Recently I disconnect from my internet very often even through I'm not using wireless.

Has the new service been slow? Thinking which to go into, now on Singnet old ADSL plan but no longer in contract....

You know, while Starhub isn't problem-free, at least their techs don't give half-ass solutions or answers to connectivitiy problems!
With Singnet, every damn issue is universally solved by turning off your Firewall! WTF.
And Starhub's techs are more competent and knowledgeable, and always patiently help you through the phone without getting impatient.
I call Starhub helpdesk, I get put on hold for about 5mins. If I call Singnet helpdesk now, I'd be holding on INDEFINITELY!!!!

Few weeks ago, i experienced connection prob at the same timing for 3 consecutively nights.
me and my sis called the hotline till after 12am but nobody picked up. Furious, I called up the next day and made a complaint. My sis made noise, because they are so inefficient. Think they outsource to India.. coz if u notice, the technicians are Indians! They then called my hp everyday to check that things are working fine. -

me also jump from singnet to starhub. knn singnet line always drop. call thier helpdesk always tell me to uninstall driver, change tel line etc etc.. knn b4 calling them already know what they gonna tell me to do

I'm also using Singnet 512k broadband, with Aztech ADSL modem. Never had any issues with it though.

oya come to think of it.. singnet recently got prob is it. last night my fren cannot connect den recently my bt download speed very slow.
