I do follow the advertisement for some big companies, some same post keep coming out 2-3 times after 1st closing dates. The paper may be very thick, but are they seriously creating jobs or needed the fill up is still questionable.

sorry, I don't..unless the fencing / gate for employment of so called "foreigner talent" is up. You are likely to see $50 -$100 type of increment for most of the local graduate.

Unless, you go to a government linked or wafer related companies. Laughing

hmm i took ard 1.5 mths from 1st interview to confirmation.

I infact sent out resumes when i was still in Uni.So lets say i graduated in July 2005. i sent out resumes since April till July. I did receive several phonecalls from agencies and companies, but they wanted immediate avaliablity and i was still in australia, therefore i had to turn them down.

Hang in there buddy, treat each interview session as a punching bag and practice your interviewing skills. It ain't easy to go for an interview. I had it the tough way. upon returning i was called up by a firm that i wanted to join and i had to prior interviewing experience. so it was kinda of uptight for me.

The resume and cover letter does play an impt role in snagging the interview.You might want to go to Books Kino go browse through some of the books that teaches you how to draft cover and resumes.
