  actually the discussion between poly and jc students have already been underlying for a long time...
  from the bus concession issue to school fees issue...to the elitist issue...to the SARS issue (where poly students still had to go school while jc students stayed at home) it has always been there...

  Rubbish la. Go neighbourhood school and you work out the percentage. Top schools and neighbourhood schools add together the national percentage also lesser than top schools.

  I prefer to have skills rather than have results which brings me nothing other than open a pathway for me to continue studies.

  JC people whole day memorise book no self-thinking therefore go JC to keep options open
  
  Poly students who are much more mature already thought of what they want hence going forward for specialisation
