Singaporeans in general are becoming more stupid
They think tat education is everything and will provide them with everything... but sadly... tats far from the truth... alot of people now esp. so called 'elites' talk as though they have achieved alot when infact they haven't... u tink scoring less than 10 pts is a big deal?
I am willing to bet that if i gave u a simple out of textbook problem you won't be able to do it, simply because u have no real world experience and has basically reach the stage of where you tink u alreadi noe everything...
Poly really teaches people different things, the focus is on skill... example, engineering knownledge, the ability to invent, create new things from new ideas... engineers are among the highest paid people in the world because they create value...

i admit i'm inferior in certain ways as compared to a JC student,and i hope they do not think that they're superior in every aspect..
i just wana see some mutual respect between both parties..
and the government could help this cause alot...instead of promoting the elitist mindset.. -

A certificate is only stating that you had completed a course. It does not indicated whether you are really learnted or no. Having good result only show you are good in academic only.

Two, I doubt they will want to make the criteria to enter JC and poly the same, because CI is already doing a good job for it. -

one of the many reasons why they command a lower pay is because their paper qualifications are not recognized in sg...
high pay doesnt mean they are talented... it's the way our society see them...
i have seen FTs from western countries producing work way lousier than those from china or india...
