I hafta say this, I've been to Forever 21 many times, & Not once have I been ticked off by any of the staff. In fact, they've been quite nice & helpful. For every unreasonable customer complaint, I would think Forever 21 will also have pleased 10 customers or more.
Anyway, since you're adamant that Forever 21 is that bad, which I disagree, then why don't you write in to them? Oh, & include the fact that you guys brought drinks into the shop.
It IS about the drink.
Let Forever 21 do their investigations

if u give good service i'm sure customers appreciate it jus that they dun say.. in lsaes line u canot let ur personal stuff affect ur mood for work.. if ur not happy abt ur personal problems prob abt it after work or during break times.. i do have many unhappy personal times when i'm working but i jus have to bear with it n jus smile at customers when they come in.. u will get used to it after sometime then u will forget ur problem later in the day..
jus like how u behave in public when ur in sch uniform.. as long as ur in a uniform u have to behave.. n ur wearing n presenting ur company in selling things.. so the impression of the company is mainly how staff handle customers.. like giodano as some one said.. their service is the best when i went in they greeted every customer warmly n introduce their promotions.. even thou if u dun buy anything they will say thank you n bye when u walk out.. this is call good service..
