i registered for maths,humanities and principles of accounts.what about you?this yr is gonna be a boring yr ahead of me...

i retaking maths and english ..
my o's i only fail maths ma ..
whereas english i just take to give a second try , mayeb can score higher or something ..
go work at the same time .. or find a tuition centre ..
life wont be that boring de la .. its gonna be over very soon.

oh i see.i also failed maths only.but my l1r4 is horrible so i intend to retake a few other subjects to push up my grades.but one yr seems to be like an eternity for me.btw can we use combined cert this yr?i heard pple saying that combined cert does not exist anymore.i am so confused...

yea , i also heard my friends saying such things .. but i guess MOE wont be so cruel to us ? this year really alot of people retaking if you realized .. mainly english and maths.. -
my maths used to be f9 but i worked hard in the end still got a d7.if i have gotten a c6 could have just gotten into poly.damn it.i dunno why they condemn maths failures.are we expected to apply maths throughout our lives?like algebra etc?

but if you fail english , you can go to quite alot of courses .. and i thought english was more important than maths ? -
they usually say poly accept maths d7 but is only a minority.u still need to appeal.if ur points are like 13 or 14 but maths d7,u still have a chance.mine is 20plus so obviously hopeless.i went to appeal at all the polys in the spore and in the end still got rejected...

it says can combine certs of two sittings.. -
yup,that is the point.we apply eng for the rest of our lives yet wif a d7 in english,u can simply can any course in poly as long as u meet the requirements.this is so unfair!

haiz.i called up moe ytd,they say can use combined cert and this is the last yr,so we cannot afford to screw up again.if i am not wrong,next yr we can only apply via dae.jae is out for us.do u know?

I was a private candidate before due to my lousy 'o' results
All C6
Try to enrol to some private schools for some lessons
The some advantages of a private candidate:
No ECAs
More focus on the subjects selected
That time I choose 5 subjects only
The disadvantages...
After lessons I go play arcade and games
plus a lot of other stuffs
To conclude You must have strong determination to study as a lot of other factors will influence you during this duration to the exams 
Still remembers the times that I completed the 10 years series

i tried looking around.at first i was considering SIM,MDIS and such private schools for private dip but realised that the school fees are rather hefty and my family financial background is not very well-off.so i will just study for another yr.my frenz will be all in poly and i guess i wil be staying at home the entire yr so i guess the temptation will be less...
