My JRT shakes like mad whenever she hears thunder. Weird, considering she's never been struck by lightning before.
I think someone gave a possible reason in one of the earlier replies... he said tht it has got to do with a dog's capability of hearing more frequencies... maybe the thunder has some kind of irritating frequency tht my dog hates.... -
I dunno. Only my JRT shakes. She is willing to take on German Shepherds thrice her size but shakes when it comes to thunder. it's true, my dog does the lion dance whenever there is lion dance drums sound... but if it rains, she'll jus coil inside her hole, bring some cloth from the floor to cover the front and sleep...
