Are there any ways to soothe or cure the throat besides taking Lozenges?

is gargling salt water another way to soothe the sore throat?

i swear...don't overdose your lorenzos...i had sore throat once...and finished one pack of lorenzos within one day...the next day...i had phlegmn stuck in my throat...which made it worse...

I having sore throat also.
Go to Chinese medical hall or shops that sells cooling herbal tea.
Ask for prepared drink Ling Yang (cost abt $5 a bottle) or Yang Seng (cost abt $3 a bottle) and drink it.
Stop any form of fried or heaty food. Take fish soup.
and drinks lots of water.
2 days can see significant improvement.

tell you what , go those chn medical shop/drug store and buy the capsule (inside powder 1) , it is in Green , it cures sore throat. i dont know the name
just swallow 1 capsule can oredi.

1) A bowl of Laksa with extra chilli paste
2) A bowl of Mee Siam with extra chilli
3) A normal bowl of Kambing Soup (Indian Mutton Soup)

Best remedy i ever used :
1 . squeeze half a lemon into a cup
2. fill the cup with warm water
3. Drink it up -
cant rmb i think is coke with ginger and lemon ..
