Do you expect ur furture wife to be able to cook for you?
i know most singaporean woman dont even know how to fried an egg!
And they are busy with their work also...
But what im hoping is that next time my wife could just spare some of her time
and prepare me a meal during weekend (just weekend not weekdays)
would you marry a girls from other country just because that particular girl can
cook for you? -
Better if dun cook...can transform the kitchen to something else.....

maybe it depends on individual. For me, I dont mind a woman who can cook or not. if she is a career womaN...all the better. more income for the house. i dun think i will marry a foreigner just because she can cook. cookery skills is not an issue for me.
but remember.... If YAN can cook, So can YOU!!! -
This is the problem...imagine come home from work n see a bowl of cold maggee mee - chicken flavoured with eggs..

cant expect a gal to cook if her working hrs is like urs!!..its very unfair..moreover, if u love n dote her, u wont wanna tire her out..
maybe wkend cooking is good...both can help out in cooking some dishes..can bond the r/s....so from dunno how to cook well ending up cooking very well...hehe -
would be good lah, but not like the girl dunno hwo to cook then reject lor. its just a plus point, but nothing crucial.

If she can't cook, maybe you should then.
You can't reject or choose to be with a person just based on that one attribute. Cannot cook, then everyday eat out lor. Very common nowadays. -

I can cook (I'm not talking about instant food and basic stuff like frying an egg)
and so can my husband
But both of us have busy work schedules and when we did our math, it's actually cheaper to just eat out or tabao something home
We do cook during the weekends but nowadays we are just too tired and lazy that we eat out too. -

Even she can cook, she cant be as good as the chef in restaurants.
but even it taste not as good as outside restaurants, i enjoy it more bcos she tried to pleased me by doing something for me. Cooking is very troublesome(buy stuffs, prepare it before cooking, cook it, wash all the things).
if you mean wife cook everyday before husband come back from work, well, yes if the husband is supporting the family alone.
For now i am not married yet, both me and my gf are working. sometimes she buy things and come over my house cook for me. sometimes i buy stuff and cook, ask her come over to eat. We both not very good in cooking, but we enjoy doing it and eating the things we cook ourselves. -

Anyway, I think ultimately I think it's not important if a girl knows how to cook or not but more importantly if she is willing to learn.

I'd sure like my future girlfriend or wife to be able to whip up a good meal, but it's only a good-to-have, not a need-to-have. It's too shallow to reject a person just because she can't cook.

But imagine your wife don't know how to cook, then she try so hard to impress you in her apron and kitchen so messy then you come back from home and saw her like that. Isn't that so sweet and cute?
