I think it has to do with our lifestyle probably. Remember, IT popularity came at the 90s where home computers and internet became popular right then. I think we current generation spend too much time on our PC that we totally forgot about our food and turned thin over time.

You are right about the genes thing. Its pretty hard to find good looking current generation hourglass figure girls now. I remember the time I was in lower secondary. Most of the upper secondary girls were hot. Slim, nice figure and good looks. Nowadays, its different. Upper secondary or JC girls, most are quite uninspiring I say. -
i jus think that nowadays all e gals wear almost e same thing..jus like wearing uniform..dont u think so? jus walk down orchard orchard road and every few steps u will saw something similar..i dun agree that in the 90's to now thats no tall gals. just that tall wid hour glass figure is hard to find eh..anyway i think figures and looks during teenage years arent really important..yeah..

looks will change. cant really judge gals in their teens and compare them with gals in 20s or even 30s. wanna compare, u have to compare with the same generation. of course now in the new century, ppl are more fashionable n modern. gals wear lesser nowadays if compared to olden days. of course there are different kinda ppl right. u only mentioned the uglies. or perhaps u are just living in self-denial, refusing to accept that there are good looking gals out there. hour glass figure? so what if hour glass? is your looks good enough to match that figure? if guys are attracted to you cause of your figure, n i think such guys are pretty shallow, n not worth it. how u look is also how u carry yourself. i also think looks is very impt. but i think its ridiculous to compare oranges to apples.
