The tracing of ur votes is just a myth that has been passed down form ur grandparents and your parents who are less educated.
Being a "First World Govenrment", I believe that they will not resort to this to tekkang those who voted against them.
As the younger generations who are voting this election, I am surprised that they believes in this myth. I hope Singaporeans will place their unnwanted fear aside and vote for whoever they think able to lead Singapore to a higher level, not just in terms of living conditions, but also freedom of speech and media freedom. -

The court will issue such an order only if it is satisfied that a vote has been fraudulently cast and the result of the election may be affected as a result.
If you don't trust the court, I dun understand why are you still living in this country. -
When MM Lee said on TV that your vote cannot be traced to you and there's no way they can find out what you vote..... he is wrong. The Election Department Singapore stated clearly that the ballot papers are numbered and can be traced to the individual voter.
The fact is the tracing can only be carried out under court order, and so far there was no such order as far as I know. That means no body had been traced to who they had voted in the past. This also means there was no report / complaint of fraud in the past, that require the tracing to be carried out.
Hence, do not be afraid to cast your vote. -

A court order is required to check if a vote count is fraudulent. This is in the case where a party has suspicion that the vote count has been haphazard or tampered.
But one does not require a vote to be traceable for re-counts and inspections.
A ballot has to be free of identifiable markings.

Besides, it is a logistical nightmare for them to do so, and with logistics come manpower, and with manpower comes big mouths who will no doubt pau toh one. After all, they are merely civil servants.
Don't live in fear. And don't vote in fear. Vote WP or alternative parties. -
