(x - x)(x + x) = x(x - x)
i can put x=1, it is still a valid mathematical statement. 0 × 0 = 0 × 0 = 0
but when i divide by 0 the whole statement becomes invalid, as illustrated by the resulting x + x = x
Anyway, the solution has already been said. You cant divide by 0. -
This is in my opinion number theory. If number theory dont deal with it, then its to do with Mathematical Logic.
All these rules will be applied when you use algebra. -
