shetland shop dog is same family as husky?as in size...

same size but different behaviour...sheepdogs are generally more tame and gentle...husky can go berserk sometimes...thats what hdb are worried of actually...if the big dogs will attack their neighbours...

husky r native to creature to hard,cold enviroment,its their natture...they r hardy dogs...i think they somewhat between dogs and woft -
I am a dog lover too but is quite troublesome to take care of it.

If you really stay in a HDB flat, you have to bring the dog out for DAILY walks. Dogs like the Husky need alot of exercise.

btw, if u want the dog just because it looks good, then i suggest you dont rear dogs.
if u actually cared about the hyperactive and exercise obligated dog, then u would realise that keeping it in a HDB flat is rather impossible -
looking goood is one thing..I wun deny its the cutness which attracts me..but the reason i wanna get a dog is bcuz of companionship,and i like the chareteristic traits of a husky...always been longing to get a siberian husky

If you haven't got much experience taking care of dogs (from your above comment), I suggest you don't chose a husky. Huskies are traditionally working dogs that needs to run and exercise lots, so for the sake of the dog, don't choose a husky if you live in an apt. Anyway, I understand HDB's regulations only allows small breeds of dogs of not more than 40cm tall. -

huskys are considered under the large dogs category and can grow to be the size of a german shepard. they also need lotsa exercise and that means lotsa running around. some owners have to even put the dog on a threadmill to help maintain the dogs fitness and health. having a home ttts fully air conditioned is also a MUST have. huskies have double coat fur which keeps them warm in their natural habitat. being in sg is pure torture to them. -
I never mentioned not brining a dog out for fitness..i know well siberian is an active outdoor dogs,I like bringing dogs for short jogs and fields to excersise
Im an energetic person and i prefer a dog wif smilar personality to me
not some toy dog which laze around like a carpet -
you need aircon room for siberian husky.
it cannot stand the hot weather.
