If it is irrelevant; then why do so many people find it relevant?Originally posted by tIfosI:As far as scientists know, since the birth of the universe, everything has occured in a logical manner which seem to follow 1 set of physical laws. We do not yet know the theory of everything 'within the limits of the universe', but it seems like mankind is on the verge of formulating a law that describes everthings from the smallest quarks to the largest quasars. God has not made his presence felt since creation, so we can more or less assume the universe was created and left alone.
Similiary, everything 'in' the universe is trapped within the space-time limits of the universe. We are physically unable to observe anything that exist 'outside' the universe.
In view of this seeming isolation of our boundaries of space-time, we can use the occum's razor of economy and regard the exsistance of the supreme being to be irrelevant.
There are different types of faith... everyday faith; like if I lock the door, people will not be able to come in by walking through it.Originally posted by alien2:Great thinking and go on assuming until.... When you happy and contented that all the universe can be formulated into this puny little mindset called brains. So clever. Waitdoes it take any faith to assuming your assuming upon assuming those greater thinkers are all right and then believing that great Day of reckoning that they have the FINAL solution to all these puzzles? Wow did I just say great faith.. I admit your faith in those theories are so much great than most of us...

U ppl here are the most funny and narrow minded.. great to say your ideas flourish in an little Island of Singapore..outside it seem other aliens and people will consider your new ideas as relevant?Originally posted by casino_king:If it is irrelevant; then why do so many people find it relevant?
goto to read my article.. repeats here?Originally posted by casino_king:There are different types of faith... everyday faith; like if I lock the door, people will not be able to come in by walking through it.
There is faith based on solid experiments and observations. There is also faith based on Beliefs. So what are you talking about?
Originally posted by NT2:Sure, the Christian version. What about the Koranic version and the Sutric (I am not sure there is such a word, but it refers to the Buddhist Sutra) version and the Jewish version and the Moonist version and within the Christian version there is the Roman Catholic version and the Pentacostalic version and the Ultradox Version and the Reformed version and the Charismatic version... and so which version is the correct version for as far as I can see many are mutually exclusive?

if you post in EH, this will be the answer u get too.
Then why are so many willing to say otherwise?Originally posted by SixSentinels:To put it simply, God doesn't exist.
Are you talking about the Christian God? or the Hindu God... hey wait a minute as far as Hinduism is concerned, you can choose one that suits you.Originally posted by SixSentinels:Proof that God sucks:
9th "Love your enemies."
Well, it's a nice thought. But it seems strange coming from someone who
damns his enemies to hell.
So are you a Buddhist? Buddhist belives in the supremacy of man.Originally posted by SixSentinels:Most people look up to celebrities and famous people as their idols because they want to become famous and well-known too. Man's creation and idolization of God shows that Man is weak, insecure, and feels inferior within his own body.
Were there any experiments done to test this theory or observations done to show this? Or is this fantasy and imagination. Why don't you take the LOTR version?Originally posted by SixSentinels:If you've watched the movie Alien Vs Predator or read Erich Von Daniken's book, Chariot of the Gods, there is a possibility that God is one, or many, aliens who visited the Earth in primitive times to guide humankind through evolution and technological advancement. To the ancients, a highly advanced alien species would have technology that the early people would call 'magic'. Imagine how a man living 26,000 years ago would see the world today, of the 21st century. That is probably how the ancients saw the aliens in the past, as a race of people that could only be Gods, because of their advanced technology, unlimited knowledge, and great intelligence...
God is nature itself hmmm.... so man is part of nature and so man is a part of God and man is a manifestation of God and wella, man is God. How is it man does not know that he is God?Originally posted by SixSentinels:Or, what if God isn't an entity, but the energy that drives Nature and sustains the Earth? What if God is consciousness itself, spread out into all animals that lived past, present and future? What if God is Nature itself? (I believe this is the most convincing of all the theories about what or whom God really is)
Why are you so angry with a being that in your opinion does not exists?Originally posted by SixSentinels:Another reason why God sucks: He 'created' (as if i would believe that lmfao) us, gave us intelligence so that we may 'fight each other' to prove that God exists. Now that is stupid because the 'almighty, all-knowing, omnipotent' God never helps us. He watches his followers fight their wars for him, die for him, and while he sits back, relaxes, munches on popcorn, and watches the world rot away...What good is a God who does nothing but allows evil to flourish in the world? What good is a God who promises paradise for his followers but condemns unbelievers to hell? Every person deservers a right to his or her own opinion and I say God has no fcukin right to decide the fate of any one man because of his beliefs. Of course, God doesn't exist, so we don;t hafta worry about that...![]()

Dear casino_king most ppl think Christianity Or God damned them to Hell.
The fact it is their minds and conscience< conscience that is doing the irksome thing and> they cannot get rid of it. Either way i.e. get rid of conscience and behave like animals or accept themselves God=created humans and live like Homo sapiens. Arguments just are only ideas. WonÂ’t change someoneÂ’s stubborn ideas. even if you win..
You are misreading here. I meant that the existance of God is irrelevant in the course of the evolution of the universe. If you want to study the universe, man is forever bounded within the laws that were (designed?) by a said God. You could say the laws of nature is the manifestation of God, however our observations do not permit us to come to any logical conclusions of any entity that exsist outside the universe.Originally posted by casino_king:If it is irrelevant; then why do so many people find it relevant?
Ask because mankind has been asking since Humans became conscious of self?Originally posted by newmanmback:whatever evidences of how we come to be, this universe and the very existence of time herself are all found and analyzed (i wouldn't say, presumed or estimated) from fragments of the earth and the legacy from the past.
there are strong and concrete evidences that humans used to be savage beings related to prehistoric apes. however understanding that they were very much like us since they eat, live, breath, breed and die we have to know what created them in turn and the evolution within.
i believe humans are the by-products of the evolution of the universe.
why ask the questions when there is no answers/ why seek the truth when the truth is within.![]()
In the end it is still up to you to believe or not!Originally posted by gr2012:Look, guys.
In the end it is up to you whether you want to believe or not.
It is almost impossible to explain to you something if you simply REFUSE to consider such ideas or you do not wish to know more in the first place.
Only you can make the decision:
Do you want to
a. Reject the proof, fulfilled prophecies, historical events, and testimonies, and continue assuming till the day you depart and find that the emptiness in your heart is left empty...
OR
b. Accept the truth, believe the prophesies, learn about Jesus Christ(he is real! Believe it or not.) and what he did for us, and accept God's eternal gift of salvation and redemption.
Whatever your choice, just know that God loves you, no matter who you are, no matter what you believe. Just like how a father treats a son who has strayed, he will always love you. While you can, return to him, before it is too late to do so...
"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
-John 3:16
May God bless you.![]()
