Me miss poly life!!Originally posted by leungchunghong:I love POLY...
I'm assuming your a freshie.Originally posted by shadez:Recently got into polytechnic and i'm on my fourth week and it really feels very refreshing when compared to secondary school.
I mean, attending secondary school is a drag,i feel so sian everyday going to school. But now,i mean,i actually enjoy attending school.
I made a bunch of fun friends and i am actually developing a rather good friendship with them. They are not bad people by any means and have interest in their studies.
I think partly due to the fact that i'm doing something i enjoy,i actually enjoy lessons.
We have more than enough time to eat with some breaks long and we can set aside some time for recreation.
There are food courts, canteens and fast food...so many choices!!!
Plus i get to dress up as cool as i want to...unlike sec sch where i hav to wear a uniform.
So,if you are from poly, share your experiences here!!!![]()
i agree absolutely. now in final year btwOriginally posted by pudgee:you'll have lots of fun during the 1st few months. the whole class will eat together, pon lessons today, play together, organise chalets & bbqs together and chiong together.
after a few months, the class will be divided into different cliques. after 1 or 2 semesters when the projects become stressful, the blame game will begin and politics will start and ppl will start to take sides. by the end of your poly life, you'll only be hanging out in your small clique
work hard during your 1st year and try to keep your gpa high, above 3.5 if possible. its gonna be tough from the 2nd year onwards.
LOL... This thread is like a growing bubble.. Just waiting for a JC student to come and burst the bubble... LOLOriginally posted by digicharat:are there any clubs with mostly poly students?![]()

so far i think in poly, food, transportation and politics are the down points
and no one will really bother or care about well-being, unlike sec sch mates and teachers!
maybe in the end u still turn to ur sec sch mates for advice or whatnot year later?
I am from NYP also, Digital Media Design, just four weeks and life is getting stressful from so many assignments. Been in one year in poly already was formerly from IT, haiz politics in poly really sucks man and cliches are forming.Originally posted by shadez:I'm in NYP Diploma in Digital Entertainment Technology...
Anyone from NYP too?
Do u think that you will be wasting long of your time? Going back to ITE than army and to poly again. What if during your "NS" life u suddenly decide not to further study again?Originally posted by Texcoco II:Hey I also join in poly, i mean in Republic poly.....haiz sianz gona quit tat sch tml my last day liao, sianz dun like their study method and so decide go back ITE then army then poly loh, difficult but i hav to secure my ass
