You can play around with the equalizers too. I dare say the phone and earpiece has better sound quality than all the mp3 players on the market. If somebody disagrees, tell me the winner.
As for inconvenience...hmm. Well, you'll need a larger memory stick.

iPod got features better than what you said when iPod original came out long long time ago. Ear stud can be bought anywhere.
Btw, I agree that SE phones is good, in fact best in the market

the provided earphones for w800i, i dunnoe k750i got anot, but to me its not very good. a better version is sony's 80 bucks dat one.. but ive no idea on how to read the tech specs, oni from experience which is very subjective.. anyone noes more info can teach? -

dood... when u have a pda phone , an extra phone , an ipod , a psp , a nintendo ds.... i really doubt you'd use the phone as ur mp3 player... i carry all of these when i go out.... HEAVY.......
