it looks like biting the hand that feeds U.Originally posted by flayn80:U must limit ur upload speed to 7kb/s max for Starhub cable.
I am with Starhub too! Fact is, I never limit my Upload speed, but only limit my Down speed so i can play online games while downloading. When ran into lousy torrents with few seeds, i get 50kb/s. Mostly 150 to 200kb/s. Still remember theres once it shot up to 800 for 20 minutes before dropping to 200 again.Originally posted by flayn80:Slow?? Using Bitcomet?? I can d/l near 105kb/s using Starhub.
U must limit ur upload speed to 7kb/s max for Starhub cable. Cos their upload and download are sharing the same pipeline. There are also some settings in Bitcomet u must configure to obtain max download speed. Read the help files.
You can use a router. Just do a simple static ip address and then port forward configurations. I am running wireless with a router and downloads at 200kb/sOriginally posted by 022615:One important thing is don't use a router but connect with a broadband cable directly to modem. No firewall will block the client from scanning for peers, I have tried and the speed is tripled.
If your friend type some notes to you in Words document and make it a torrent and you download it, then no police in this world can sue you!Originally posted by SingaporeMacross:eh, use bittorrent download stuff can get caught or not?
how you set de? teach me leh. my azureus speed like 1 to 2 kps only.Originally posted by chenc:I get an average of 200kbps with my Azureus. The fact is if you can configure it very well, Azureus can definately get better speed than Bittorrent or most of the other clients.
However, Azureus is the worst in terms of RAM sucking. Another words, it needs more memory to operate than any other clients. uTorrent needs the least, and even its instalation file is only 100 plus kb. I tried it and it did not match my Azureus's speed however

Wired doesn't mean you don't use router. Is there a router? Whats is the number of seeds and peers for your torrent?( give me the total, not the connected ones) SIngnet 512 means 512kbps download max is it? I not sure coz i with SH. Did you limit your upload speed?Originally posted by bladez87:how you set de? teach me leh. my azureus speed like 1 to 2 kps only.
