Its like your router will some how block and jam data directed to Azureus. Buy port forward, you just make sure the router is out of the way and allows a direct transfer of data from the source.
Only trojan horses from the torrent server itself might break into your computer at the faster rate. Meaning even without a direct route from the router, spyware can too enter. Port forward just make it faster for them.
Worry not. According to 'professional' views online, its likely that theres spyware going around in all torrents networks, no matter what client you use. Also, its said that Azureus is the most vulnerable to trojans.
However, I have been using Azureus for years and nth happened. My friends whos with Bitcomet, Bittorrent, BitLord, ABC, Bittornado, uTorrent also tell me that none of them experience virus or spyware when using.
