Mhcampboy, thanks for the info. Yeah i'm not planing to stay in a condo or pvt aptmt. Wow i'm bit surprised about the other expenses being around 2K. i was thinking that i'd get by on 1-1.2k(at the max). And yes i'm not planning on continuing in Sg for more than 2 yrs, so savings is an impt aspect. Guess i'd better try my luck in negotiating for a bit more.Originally posted by mhcampboy:Yes. no i'm not scared because some crazy guy gives vent to his frustrations on this post. I really don't understand why some ppl have this fear of foreigners. I mean if u welcome free inflow of foreign capital, then as a corollary u must be prepared to accept free inflow of foreign labour. thats the basic premise of globalisation that capital and labour will flow across boundaries to where there is a demand for them, because the demand cannot be met locally.
Besides i'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of singaporeans also trying to make a honest living in US, UK and other advanced countries. So singaporeans too benifit from the free flow of labour -
