Bukit Timah Shopping Centre

well i saw they're trying to do some change into this shopping centre (and those near to it, namely Beauty World Plaza, Beauty World Centre, Bukit Timah Plaza) but they're not really changing the shops in it aren't they? Because I feel that it's the shops that matters.
Currently it's like, they're all selling old-fashioned stuff or so...I went to Bt. Timah Plaza and saw that people still push those ntuc trolleys up to the 4th floor using the lift. And many of the shops sell clothes that are out of fashion and the way they man their stores...basically nobody goes there if they ever need something, with only a few exceptions. I seem to find that some of the more popular and successful type of shops are Barbers/Hairdressers, and LAN shops, though many other stuff like Travel Agencies occupy the rest. I was just wondering if they wanted to put some success into the few buildings, because they were popular once, but times have now moved on. Otherwise they might just go to waste. -
the only thing i miss is the waffle town.......

I miss the Apple Macintosh shop..last time always go there play free computer games with the staff there

They sell some nice food there....nonya laksa....very fragrant

In order to make money, they have to do changes to it. Take Serangoon Shopping Centre as an example. It's a almost dead town now.

aiyo now after school almost all of us just take a few stops to king albert park, who will want to go to bukit timah shopping centre

now, it needs a cinema, a mrt station to maintain like northpoint or J8.
else, you need to have a theme.
like united sq, a children schooling place.
and look at the crowd, I believe if they are some arcades, a 4D betting kiosk, a gym, maybe lor. -
LIke Bukit Timah Line, 2 decades later ??
By then, the bulidings pulled down for further development liao lor -

otherwise, people like me and my friends flock to the line of eateries across the road -
last time in the early times.....in 1980's bukit timah and beauty world shopping ctr was as according to my mum "very popular".......now seeing it degenerate to such linely sight is something a sad sight to see......anyway yucks bukit timah shopping ctr has this section at the bottom level 1 ................australian ntuc.......yucks to that.......simply FILTHY!

and that are is quite popular actually, esp. the food centres across the road -
i missed the escalators sia cos when young, used to run up and down, playing catching with my bro..was blacklisted in the security guards' list...

What Bt Timah Plaza needs is a total facelift like what they did at the Marina Square.. Man! I live around Bt Timah Plaza for the past 8 years and I've not stepped into the place before..

Thought at bukit timah shopping centre there is a cafe at the dance studio 'attitude' the cakes serve looks yummy!!~ -
They generally serve to the needs of those residents staying above the shops...
