what i am thinking is that the acceptance of gay will influence those who dun have gay tendencies to become one.
therefore you need people like me to remind people that it is better to be a straight. -

I guess the problem is that the first thought that is being planted into our mind. When we point out to someone and say that he is a gay, what is our first reaction or first thought? It would be that he likes guys instead of things like we think when we see a normal guy, like how is this person like, etc... Many guys, not all of course, will think that "I don't want him to like me." or "I don't want people to think that I am a gay when I hang out with him". When that happens, they will not want to make friends with that person.
To me, this is a rather "weird" issue. To be honest, I feel that society has come to a stage that as long as you are not "normal", you will not be accepted or will be left out.
No wrong with being gays. No wrong with accepting them. No wrong with not accepting them either. It is what it is because of society's culture. That's how I feel. -

morally it is not wrong. unless you are biogenetically made to prefer guy, dun be a gay. the society will discriminate naturally against gays and being a minority group, you will lose a lot of chances, in making friends, jobs which is bad for you and your life will be quite bad.

morally gay is not wrong but practically speaking, in today's world it is better not to put yourself in a group where others will discriminate you because you will miss out all the opportunities of being a non gay. anyway, there are girls around everywhere, so it is not as if being a non gay you cannot find love.
maybe you do not dare to find love in opposite sex because you have a past fear towards them. if that is the case, you should solve the fear, and not run away from it. learn to see how being with women is nice. -
i have many gay friends and they usually lead more fulfilling life than others. The gay people are know are usually more outgoing and has lotsa female friends. Kinda makes me jealous.
Anyway, the threadstarter is really narrow and shallow. He should go out and take a look instead of stereotyping and living in the 50s.
Do you know that there are gay animals too? It's an entirely natural thing. -

and there is no such thing as whether is better to be straight or gay. u don't know what life would be like 10 years down the road. by then, who knows(touch wood) maybe straight people will get discriminated against. of course i hope thats not true, but u never know. -
