Reasons why kids nowadays misbehave in school

As a student, I have heard lots of cases of strict discipline inside school life........
And so, after much thinking, I have decided to say out a few possible whys:
1. That particular generation/cohort of kids is bad and ill-disciplined in their nature..........(I mean that a particular cohort's standards and quality may have dropped sharply)
2. They may have problematic backgrounds.
3. Their English may not be good. This makes discipline in school much more difficult to maintain (since they do not understand the instructions....and could not have the instructions carried out properly...)
4. They are delinquent.
5. They are subjected to bad influences (violent TV shows and com games)
6. They have bad peers/friends.
7. They themselves are either too stupid or too smart
8. Hmm....lack of parental care and concern
9. Over-pampering........of these kiddies......
10. many other reasons (i.e. academic level/stream etc)......feel free to share......this post may be edited anytime when I could think of more answers.
DISCLAIMER: This is a posting neutral to all parties. I am only stating all the possible reasons why kids nowadays likes to misbehave in school, not attacking or critising them. I WOULD NOT be responsible for all problems arising from this posting (i.e. flaming)! -

These kids today are angels compared to the 'fire/canto' generation. Those teenagers were 100 times more trouble maker

I think that there is more than one cause.

kids nowadays don't know how to PLAY. Most coddle at home watch TV, play computer games and simply have no chance to exert all the energy they have. And kids have A LOT OF ENERGY. And if they have no chance to PLAY to use up their energy, bobian loh, they need to play in school - which becomes misbehaviour.

firstly, most misbehaving kids are f*ckin' chee-nas who have extremely bad english. I have seen alot of bada*s kids with parents who are either gangsters themselves, or all simply uneducated fools. In mandarin; we call these kind of people - she hui de bai lei. In english; they're simply labelled a disgrace to our society.
secondly, in rare cases; it may be because of their family bg; they are a single-parent child.
thirdly; birds of a feather flock together. look at those bunch of ah bengs/ ah lians out on the streets behaving like rowdy pr*cks & p*ssies & you know those kids are black sheeps among the cohort (if the cohort is good). If the cohort is bad, then it's needless to say.
I have seen Raffles students acting like hooligans. Smoking, hurling profanities, even caught 'em watching porn and (wanking under the table with a view of a hot teacher.) norm in a boy's sch; say your neighbourhood school such as Monfort sec which is such a disgusting school. So what is the big f*ckin fuss if your parents send you into a top school or not?
Bad influences (due to media, friends, etc), poor parenting and f*cked up teachers all contribute to the students' welfare and development be it emotionally, mentally or physically.
Most of the time, those bad students (flouting the school rules and committing more serious offences) would be chinese-speaking, f*ckin' chee-nas (these i must emphasize), and are simply f*cked up in their studies. Think i'm talking crap, you should go observe. Ah bengs/lians DO NOT converse in English. If they do, it'll be such a hilarious sight, and really; it would be a disgrace to call myself a S'porean. -

raging hormones lead to rebellion, a desire to challenge authority, prolly for the fun of it or just to get a kick
some of them would outgrow this stage so it does not mean that they are "bad" kids
they just want to spice up their boring academic life -

Lack of corporeal punishments in schools. Nowadays when the teacher canes the student, the parents come marching in saying they wanna sue the teacher.
How can we instil discipline if we are don't let teachers do their jobs?
My chinese teacher in primary school caned us when we failed ting xie..
We were taught moral education during my time which i think is useless, how do u teach something which must be experience? I think most kids nowadays think that their parents can give them unlimited protection, parents are increasingly protective of their kids to the point it hinders developement.
