  Just reading through 3 out of 10 pages of comments, I was completly freaked out. I'm not sure whether the posts about people going insane or killing themselves are genuine or not, but you certainly do not want to risk finding out.

  ok i dreamt about the picture. but it wasn't a scary dream. just that her eyes changed from blue to black, but thats about it. probably because i keep reading about other people claiming that her eyes change colour...

  I saw this 3 days ago and because after seeing it i feel so funny, i decided to post it here for comments, i dreamt about her too, i dreamt that she was behind me and following me while i was alone, after that wake up, headache !!

  I read through all the pages in SW.net thread... Hell no, I'm not gonna stare at this pic... Not alone at least. Even if its an optical illusion, but I want to have a good night sleep

  The story is this, in Japan shortly before a teenage girl comitted suicide, she drew this picture, scanned it and posted it online. In korea this story broke out and it spread like wildfire. There are various posts around in korean forums that say that the viewer gets drawn to the girls blue eyes, they say they can detect a hint of wraith and sadness within the eyes. Maybe the girl had died with so much sadness and anger that her spirit haunts the image, or maybe the image provoke sadness, similar to the song 'Gloomy Sunday'.
  
  The freaky bit is this, they say it is hard for a person to stare into the girls eyes for longer than 5 minutes, there are reports that some people have taken their own lives after doing so. People say the picture changes, as you view it there is a hint of a growing taunting smirk appearing on the girls lips or a dark ring grows around the girl or her eyes.
  
  One thing is for sure, the picture has sparked a curiosity in me that I must find out, i do feel a presence when I look at the image, whether it is evil or not I can not judge. I would like to know what the global online community feels and maybe even experts in art would be able to resolve why the eyes of this image can draw the viewer in so deeply?

  huh? nothing was scary about my dream about her. Dreams are often a visual replay of what u've seen during your waking hours, and then with our subconscious thoughts(and fears) thrown in. If u were afraid of the pic to begin with, that might explain why u dreamt about being chased by her.
  
  In my dream, like i said, i only dreamt that the pics eyes turn from blue to black. Before i went to sleep, I had been to some of those other forums and read a lot about people saying her eyes turn to black, which is probably why i dreamt about it. But nothing about it was scary in any way. Personally i do not think there is anything really paranormal about this picture. However, I think the picture itself is a strong exercise in the power of suggestion.

  Btw , i saw the smirk on her face in the slpywood.net .. im not sure if other viewers would see it .. but i saw the sly smile across her face after staring for 3 minutes .. as for me i dont think much into the teenager drawing it .. but more of a optical illusion. I think its just a sly smile which i seen .. any1 saw anything else?

  I think for any other picture, after staring at it for a prolonged period of time it will start to distort. Especially after you've read all the other posts on the other forums.

  why is it creepy? it's just a distorted pic...
