reminds me of this incident on the coke machines (the one that accepts ez-link card) that sells bottled coke, lemonade and heaven & earth green tea for $1.50.
i was sleepy that i pressed the usual button, tap my card, money deducted, then to my horror i released there is nothing on that slot but slot next to it still got the coke bottle.
no refund, the machine just did its job and blinked back, so one 500ml coke = $3.
