so your biggest dream is just to make 2 or 3 thousand a month? just because this guy is in this situation makes u unhappy? what about the thousands of university grads out there who make tens of thousands or even millions and they studied hard for their degree? with a mindset like that you might as well settle for your $2000 a month job as an office desk worker for the rest of your life or wherever you might end up

In my opinion, ur friend is ur friend, you are you. Why are u jealous now? Is it because u felt very "saaat" that u had a place in uni while he entered ITE? (So u can't handle the imbalance now)
so wad even if u are a degree grad? while i do not disagree that a degree can get u a job with a not-so-bad pay at starting, but the rest of it depends on your performance liao..
boy, unless u r telling me u expect all degree grad to be better (than poly, ite, o lvl) huh?

Rock Star's got his finger on the pulse here - Sharky's more interested in strutting his stuff than in what he's doing and why he's doing it.
It's nice to know that some natural justice remains in this world and that Sharky feels exactly the way he should right now - his stunning degree of shallowness really does make him inferior.
It's not that I have no sympathy, it's just that this situation doesn't deserve any. -
i wonder y people like to compared, its easy to find people worse than u, but its even easier to find people that are better off then you. I always believe in this : live within ur means and you will be happy. y envy ur buddies who are making 10k a mth??juz admire and salute them for having the guts to start out on their own, cus for every success story, there are countless that have failed. For me, i come from an average family, i figured out that unless i strike TOTO(the chances are 1 in 5864443200), the only way for me to break out of the 'poverty' cycle is through education, hardwork, perseverance, and perhaps abit of luck. I didnt like university, but that thought motivated mi all the way...I have a feeling that many who had similiar experiences as mi will no doubt agree with mi~~

I'm in a similar situation, I am Uni also, next acad year is my final year. Looking at my friends whom I know since my sec school days, one a O-level holder, the other a dip holder both are earning over 2k, drives, etc.
Do I envy them? Of course! Who doesn't!
Am I jealous? Not really, because I know when I grad, there is no stopping me working hard, earning more than them, drive a bigger car than them isn't it?
Remember, they only got there first but they dun have any power from stopping u from getting there and out doing them. -

Get ur degree -> further studies to get ur masters degree -> train up and brush up all ur skills , be unique -> everyone wants you to work for them..
