  humm. i 24 liao leh, no longer tenagers wat. but still can hear. mayb should restrict moe to employ only teachers who r above 30. from now on.

  Ok, maybe you just have to on your speaker louder. I had made a test using a normal mp3 and mosquito mp3 at a sampling frequency of 44khz, normal human can hear 20hz to 20khz.
  
  From normal discrete signal we had is sin(2*pi*f*t) t is realated to the sampling frequency (fs) which is 1/fs = T, T/N =t.
  N is the sampling rate.
  
  From the analog signal, I can see that it is within human ear range, therefore shouldn't be any problem.

  Note: you may wondering why sampling frequency must be higher than frequency. This is simple, to prevent anti-aliasing and under sampled.
  
  Some human range may exceed 20khz and reached 22khz, therefore to obey the law to sampling frequency, we will have to multi the 22khz with 2.

  I can hear both the 17kHZ and the 18kHZ one. But I dun find this irritating at all, but I can't listen to this for long period of time.

  can hear it, but not as cool as one of my batch mate's ability.
  
  he can produce such high pitch sound from his voice box without any mechanical help. used to freak us all out.

  concentrate guys..maybe try to concentrate on ur ears or something. you will hear a very tight sound something like when the how the speakers go 'tiiiiiiiiiiiiiii' lol.
