why the FM? my brother wants that too. i wish my parents will get me the aquanaut in boy size. hehehe.Originally posted by philia:Next target? Lol... I don't my parents are ready to fork out another watch for meBut I am a happy man with a FM Long Island Crazy Hour Full Diamond. LOL.
Ah, OK. I kinda guessed that someone your age would probably have to do something pretty spectacular to buy one on his own, but I didn't want to be condescending either.Originally posted by philia:I didn't save for it. It's from my parents, embarrassingly. lol.
I can never grow tired of looking at the FM (especially the Crazy Hour edition). And I love the way it feels on my wrist. The curvex model, particularly, fits snugly on my wrist; you know, the way the shape is designed to envelope your arm. Furhermore, my wrists are flat-shaped so it makes wearing FM much more comfortable since most of their watches are elongated.Originally posted by inextremo:why the FM? my brother wants that too. i wish my parents will get me the aquanaut in boy size. hehehe.
Patek, yes but tag? i think that most of the people buy expensive watch (1-2K) just to show off but not for art appreciationOriginally posted by alexkusu:one pay money for the workmanship and quality ma. A good watch is like a work of art that can stand the ravages of time ma
Who would mind a PP World Time? *drool*Originally posted by inextremo:stainless steel, with rubber strap.
another watch i dont mind is the pp world time in yellow gold.
my dad sold away the yellow world time to buy the limited edition one that hour glass came up with for the 25th anniversary.Originally posted by philia:Who would mind a PP World Time? *drool*
55000 SGD if I am not mistaken. But it'd only be good if you are a frequent traveller imo aside from how cool the watch looks.
Nah, should be somewhere in the 30-35 nieghbourhood.Originally posted by philia:Who would mind a PP World Time? *drool*

I presume the Limited Edition is the Platinum. But yeah as with most cases, Platinums don't look nearly as good as gold (unless rose gold probably in some cases). Take the vertu signature editions for instance but of course the Diagonos look so much better in Platinum than gold however. But yeah I agree the 5110R pwns the 5110POriginally posted by inextremo:my dad sold away the yellow world time to buy the limited edition one that hour glass came up with for the 25th anniversary.
despite being highly sought after,
i dont think its as nice as the yellow gold one.
As far as I know the Jaeger has a 2nd timezone city selectors that serve to be more of a hassle in terms of makind adjustments to the time zones. Plus, unlike the PP, it doesn't cope very well with daylight saving time and variability of sunrise/set. I personally find the PP to have a much simpler interface. But again, the Jaeger is considerably less expensive.Originally posted by Gedanken:Nah, should be somewhere in the 30-35 nieghbourhood.
What do you think of the JLC Master Geographic?
i think the shops are selling for about 32k,Originally posted by Gedanken:Nah, should be somewhere in the 30-35 nieghbourhood.

Oh please, watch is an essential. I think a watch defines a man. But if u r not willing to invest Big time money on branded watches, u can try the lower ranges one.. common folk's range. Nice range, i feel. =DOriginally posted by MrFugue:all so rich i so poor i got no watch ...![]()
Ehh, I much prefer the second time zone in the JLC's subdial. It's much easier to read at a glance than the PP's layout IMHO. When it comes to daylight savings, you do it twice a year, which is a lot less often than when you glance at your watch.Originally posted by philia:As far as I know the Jaeger has a 2nd timezone city selectors that serve to be more of a hassle in terms of makind adjustments to the time zones. Uhh, h2h, hate to tell you this but it looks like this discussion's moved a bit out of your market segment. It was a nice marketing idea while it lasted, though.Originally posted by heart2heart:Oh please, watch is an essential. I think a watch defines a man.
