Just like everybody else, I thought Singapore is very efficient. I moved house in Dec. I had my address changed in the same month. I thought all government dept will be informed automatically. Can you imagine I got a fine for not renewing my TV licence a few months later? Yes quite a few month.I explained that I shifted out of the house and no more living there. In fact I was paying the license in the new house, why should I need one in the old one where no body lives. Well I had to write in and they consider the case and waive the fine.
