frankly speaking, let us view the topic objectively.
If ITE grads are soooo good,
1. you would see them inside PAP parliment
2. you would see them as doctors/lawyers/bankers etc
3. you would see them writing books
4. you would see them as CEO of MNCs
ITE grads have the highest incidence of fighting, rioting, smoking, prostitution, gals who get guys into jail by giving false statements, ah lians, dress give half ball, shout vulgarities, etc etc... also highest in jail/boys home, girls home etc etc.
When we talk about representing singapore in sports in SEA or international games, students from top schools or JC or uni will represent Singapore.
In short, ITE students are not called ITE students for nothing. There is a reason for this. You guys seriously think PAP will get an ITE grad as Prime Minister of this country?
Sorry for being blunt but I believe some pple need to wake up from their slumber. If everyone thinks ITE is good, then u send your kids there to ITE and dont go JC loh! -
ITE grads are good only if they make it to higher levels of education.

They are living 1st class citizen, government aids them and he could turn one man thrash into another's treasure.
In Singapore, which is more realistic. The rich, powerful or clever will win respect. Otherwise, ITEs is always left behind.
If you are talking someone earned so much from collecting garbage, ITE can't, isn't ITE is worse than someone collecting garbage? -

Frankly speaking, be it ITE or PLSE cert, it doesn't matter. What matters it that person character and thinking.
In fact many ITE is earning money more than the U? How come? Coz they think out of the box and have real life experience.
There are, definately a lot of ITE black sheep. Creating troubles here and there therefore change the our perspective of view towards them -
what about Tammy NYP? does that mean that all poly students have sex and video it? all the generalising does not do any good.
