btw i dont advise using the Hp 6828 for the wifi...the wifi function is not stable and conflicts with the other phone function..the atom is however..is stable
Poor performance
Pros: good display,
Cons: phone and wifi dont coexist, poor battery life
Opinion:
I changed to this phone from a dopod818 impressed by the faster cpu, fm radio and the display. Honestly I am disappointed with the bugs in the phone - move from area of good signal strength to weak/no signal and then move back to area of good signal - phone still is unable to get out of no signal mode. When you use WIFI then phone function hangs - requires reboot. FM radio is average in quality. Firmware requires a good amount of patches before this phone can be stable. Battery life poor even when I dont use any multimedia feature.
Pros: Compact with all users would want in a PDA phone
Cons: can't even access to yahoo.com.sg
Opinion:
Have to send the item back for servicing after I purchase it for less then 1 week. The wi-fi function is not stable at all. Always can't detect the network or access to the internet and afterwhich it will get hanged . The HP service people is also unable to explain or detect the reason for such failure. In the end, they return the phone to me with the comment that all phone of this model is having the same problem. They even commented that all PDA phone have such problem but it is not true as the dopod 818 pro that I own previously did not have such problem. Hope they do something about it. -
buy the smallest vaio + m1 3g connect pc card.
