  Walk up close to other party, poke finger at his chest and say; "YOu not happy? Want to fight?" The other guy retaliates by pushing him back, in a split second, the guy who jab his finger at his chest rammed his fist into his abdomen. The man bents over in pain, he bring up his knee into his face and bloodied his nose. While the man is on the ground, he kicks at his face and head while desperately tries to cover his head.
  
  The above, not a pretty sight. But the outcome, the one who poked his chest because he stared at him over being noisey in coffeshop, got charged in court for assault, went in for 6 months Changi and incured criminal record.
  
  Where's the worth???

  sounds so violent
  
  me had a lil scuff once.. this guy was trying to pick a fight..pressing himself against me..pushing me back. I thought..wtf? the wall is just behind me, this is so gay with his body contact so close to me. So my knee accidentally went for his nuts, n somehow the fight exploded.

  You know, fights when we were young teens, only gets us a warning from Police when caught.
  
  But as an adult, we face possible jail term, caning, and a criminal record to make getting a job in SIngapore EVEN HARDER!

  If anyone goes in to Changi for fighting, the first thing your cell mates (those who are already inside, Tai Kor) will ask you what you come in for.
  
  When you tell them that you are in there because you beat up someone, they will want to know how well you can beat up someone. They will pick a fight with one to one, and fight you prison style. I guarantee you, the warden will close one eye (maybe both) and you shall be tenderized like a beef steak.
  
  First bunch of people who will smack you around first will be the guards.

  But if you have a family, lots of commitments, you should avoid trouble not because you are coward. Because you are responsible.

  Yes it's true, if cannot avoid.
  
  But make it a point, that if you fight, FIGHT for a GOOD reason. Not because of ego.
  
  Fight back in defence, fight to get away. You can never win, when a fight starts. You may win the fight, you can never win the Law.
  
  In a fight, it's hard to control what you do. If you kill your opponent, you will be spending at least $80,000 hiring a lawyer to keep your neck out of the hangman's noose! If you lawyer wins, you get charged for Involuntarily Causing Hurt, Manslaughter, or Culpible Homicide Not Amounting to Murder which is around 20 years but you keep your life.
  
  The line between just hitting your opponent to hurt him and a killing blow in a heated fight, is very thin indeed. Misjudge your strength and deal your opponent a fatal blow, bye bye life for you... and your opponent.
