How to fight temptations?

Re GF. The problem lies with u.
U are tempted cos you are not satisfied.
In your heart, u still think of getting someone better or prettier.
If u are satisfied that she is the 'one', I don't think u want to change for another.
Re shopping or gaming. It is how strong your WILLPOWER.
Tell yourself u don't need that new handbag/shoes esp. if u have many already.
Don't carry too much cash/ credit card when u go out so less chance to get tempted.
Avoid betting kiosk, take up a hobby to keep yourself occupied.
An idle mind will lead u to do stupid things.
Better to save for old age or emergency. -
With all due respect, as much as I would like to continue managing discussions on this topic, but due to my time constraint in my studies and problems cropping up with my clients, it has been impossible for me to manage everything.
However, thanks for all the contributions so far, that has allowed me to gain new insights, no matter how small, into the relevant issue. My greatest gratitude to everyone who has help answered my question one way or the other.
