need to find one with forex, stock and costing incorporated, anyone has good recommendation?

last friday, by chance someone from this SAP software company called me and the price of this software is simply unbelievable!!!! S$199K!!!
mine oh mine....too much to swallow......now then i know how small the well i m living in......

MYOB, I cannot say much as I do not have experience with it.
But the real costs and expenses is not the software package but the "IMPLEMENTATION."

Still got the cost of sending ur staff for SAP training and that is not cheap. -

seriously, bo lang use ACCPAC?? it was so popular once upon a time, but i din hv chance to hv my hands on it...now that i hv the chance to choose.... -
That is why for very very small companies they are looking for freelance developer to develop customised software using M$ Excel, M$ Access. It is cheap and best of all the features built will be customised to the specific needs of the company.
Usually software off the shelf satisfy most user needs but when come to specific features they lack it. For companies who have specific features needs, they look for customised software at very cheap pricing.
So anyone wan a customised software in M$ Excel or M$ Access?

FACT is good for small company. It is cheap but expensive for the long run. They keep on upgrade, anybody using their latest version? Is it free from bugs? Personally, I think ACCPAC is the best. It is the longest accounting software in the market. Support wise is good because there is wide range of company supporting it. Unlike FACT, only one company support it.

how long will it takes for you to develope it? so it will have all the GL, AR, AP, Bank recon, INventory (including tracking PO and DO), convertion of forex and tracking of forex gain and loss as well as job costing? how about after sales service....and also off the rack products esp ACCPAC are well tested, no hiccups...customised one most likely will face some risk right?
I only have about two months to settle this.....
