I only have about two months to settle this.....
What I am saying is for small companies for some small system like say capture driver trip to and fro they need a simple M$ Excel to settle but with some macros to facilitate the counting of money of each trip the driver needs.
Compare to your needs, obviously you need a more complex software. For this case, freelance for your software in 2 months is impossible given only one person doing. So go get the watever commercial software

As much as possible, shld not have too much customisation, unless u have the IT supports; u may end up with a mammoth that no one can assist u, shld u need some adjustment, esp if the company that helps to develop/customise it is no longer around.
best to take a ready pack that address most of ur requirements and then customise where required, as necessary.

i use accpac in my sch, very user friendly, not as colorful as myob.

for your case use Accpac which will suit you more, forget about facts.
The cost ? Well it is not going to come cheap. If esitmate I would say the modules you wanted would cost you around $10,000 - $14,000.
But usually you will still have to pay for consultation to get it setup and some hardware like computer & printer, thus will estimate the whole project will come close to $20,000. -
The key part to your argument is customise where required as necessary. Tat is where most companies hate about off the shelf product. That is also why there are always opportunities for freelancers like me who offer to solve their problem at a fraction of what they will pay for full fledged software houses.
The customisation scope muz be small also or else it is more money worth to outsource to full software houses which employ more programmers under their payroll -

thanks....here only got me this IT idiot...that's the reason y i also hope to find a more tested one.....
well maybe not going to change anymore, .....no time to stay back to do all the implementation and what not...and boss suddenly not too keen le...man -

unless u need to do super-tons and tons of mgt reporting, cutting and dicing ur numbers, else a normal ACCPAC shld do the trick... i thought. -
