Racist or not, it's up to the person to interpret it. However, it's definitely rude to hold a person by their chins. Insensitive advertisement, I would call it.

I dun know much about PSP but the very original PSP is black in color rite? Or am I wrong?
If I am right, then I think what the advertisement is trying to portray is the White Lady is representing the new WHITE PSP and saying to the Black Lady representing the Black PSP "Hey I am the new PSP and I am coming" in a mock sense of threat.
However, as i said, this kind of advertisement would work only in certain cultures. if it is a high context culture where people are more educated and do not take take things at face value, most people will understand their underlying message. If otherwise, it will be taken at face value and people will take the message as they see. -

It IS a racist ad.
To us, it doesnt seem racist coz our society is not made up of whites and blacks. But in US, I'm sure it's quite a questionable ad... -

Oh, please-- most Singaporeans have never seen racism at its worst. Think about it this way: even though racial harmony is not as smooth as the government hopes it to be, there aren't any humans dangling and jerking from the end of a rope. Go down south to Atlanta, Jackson or Biloxi, Mississippi-- THAT is 100% unadulturated racism. In Flint, Michigan, the Whites and Blacks live on opposite sides of the river. Now, I haven't seen that happening yet in Singapore.
