I also taking 'O' Level this year. I fear of nothing except SS. I dunno how to study leh. My SS teacher always say" tone, purpose etc" I blurred liao.

the prelims are always set to be more difficult than the o levels and they determine the jc you go to for the first three months next year and its more difficult if youre in the top schools their papers are killers!Originally posted by lageihsif:yeah. mindmap works

and if you dont score well for prelims right and go to a jc different from the jc that you can make it to after o levels there will be a disadvantage because you cant minus two points for being in the same jc.
im praying they do a lot of moderation for prelims

for purpose right, the advise i can offer is to include three things 1) what it has to do 2) the audience 3) the effect
like " the purpose of the source is to sway the opinion (what the source has to do)of the americans(the audience)(depends on the question)so that the government can gain support for its policies ( the effect)
most of the purpose of the source is for the writer to gain support/make another person lose support that kind of thing and to sway opinions maybe i you dont know how to answer right, just plonk in these words; it might help

then listen in class
maybe free that time, take some notes, burn alrdy put in water, drink
or you also can burn the book, then got the ash right, you cover on nose and sniff in hard. -

My biggest worries are maths, science and art. Art is driving me nuts. Haven't started on prepwork/coursework yet.

for chemistry and physics it is important to know how to apply the formulas and theories and whatever laws. for chemistry right imo chemical calculations, qa and organic chem are the hardest. for physics, mechanics can be quick tricky so just practice practice and practise. try more types of questions
for bio right, i think its a lot of memorising and regurgitating according to the requirements of the questions. oh yes must remember the food tests for practicals!
