Hair washing

  I heard from my hair stylist that the actual way to wash hair using any shampoo is to wash the hair only... (Mind you I not botak hor... I juz cut hair recently...) No touching of the scalp as it may damage the skin there. Guys in general has shorter hair so we just apply and mess it into our heads. Now I know why guys at a certain age start to lose hair like water falls from a waterfall... Who washes hair without touching the scalp?

  I've always thought you must scratch the scalp to clean throughly so that no dust or whatever turns into sabbu

  I can't really throughly wash my hair anymore... Like all mash up together. My hair is falling left and right, I just run through my hair with shampoo now. Is that considered?

  Rubbish.
  
  Give your stylist a boot.
  
  You must wash your scalp as well. Else it will become dry, malnourish and flakes start to appear.
  
  What you should NOT do is to scratch your scalp with fingernails while shampooing. It will break the outer wall of the scalp. Instead you should just massage it. Its nice to use fingernails to scratch your scalp while shampooing.
  
  But it will lead to your scalp being damaged.

  If you don't wash your scalp, it's gonna get clogged pores and causes your hair to drop when the scalp clogs up
  
  Basically, you are supposed to gently massage your scalp and not scratch it with your nails

  I dunno... maybe give yr head a massage instead of manhandling? Slowly and softly?

  Exactly. That is why you got to choose shampoo that is best for you.
  
  But not shampooing your scalp, as elindra says will damage your scalp...and when ur scalp is damaged u will lose ur hair too..

  u only dun apply conditioner directly to ur scalp.

  Yes... Eh.. grip yr hair in da wae you pull yr hair, but DUN pull. Den rub da hair using yr fingers against yr palm.

  Depends on your scalp texture and type.
  
  I use Pantene, my scalp gets itchy and will flake.
  
  Johnsons and Johnson does good for my scalp, but too dry for hair.
