Super stressed poly life

i dunno what course you are in, but if you want to exchnage places with me, I gladly do! Guess what? I am now only studying my O levels and i dunno whether i can pass to go poly! Some ppl took all the pains to go poly and they really treasure it. i am 19 this yr and i really want to go poly...idu ncare got stress or not..i now no stress also stress cause my aim is to go poly. my stupide parent also dun want give me private schooling..really diao..and for now, i just study on my own and beg them as hard as i could to give me at least some assistance on my subs.

I have never been so stressed in my life before. There so many projects to do but at the same time I must also do tutorials and study for common test. I just canÂ’t seem to handle them all. The worst of worst is that I need to work in groups. Working with ppl just sucks big time and it just adds another big bag of stress onto me, each one have their own personality..
I just donÂ’t know what to do now, Sometimes I donÂ’t go to school because I already cannot finish my old work and am not ready to take on new ones. I feel like quitting poly and going to JC or something. At least there ur academic performers doesnÂ’t depend on 3 or 4 other ppl. I donÂ’t even have time to sit and watch TV anymore. What should I do? How can I handle all this? Need answers from ppl who have successfully gone through all this?

Projects are pretty easy to pass,as long as u just do it,it should be ok.
Exams also leh? As long as u be a gd student don't skip classes often,it very very HARD TO FAIL,believe me.Somemore u got all those simple common tests to help u sometimes u score zero in the final yr exams u still can pass with just the percentage from the tests(if u score high marks for the tests lah)
Poly stuffs usually don't require much understanding also,u just need to memorise,get hints from lecturer on what is coming out for exams,it should be ok leh,i dunno now lah but my time is what i have mention above leh.
My friend pls treasure your days in poly,when u enter army then u know what is sian and when u enter Uni then u realise it much more tougher,Trust me. -
I been through 2 yrs of JC and 3 yrs of Poly.
I think Poly is much better than JC.
In JC, you have to wear uniform, squeeze for bus early in the morning, must be in proper attire everytime, tonnes n tonnes of tutorials, more tests and exams to handle, holidays you don't get to enjoy as you are struggling to mug for exams and tests, and there are mountains of homework to do as well. Hardly no life at all.
Oh yah, JCs have projects as well. Much tougher than poly projects I feel as you need to do lots of typing and powerpoints for presentations. There are PE lessons as well. Imagine going under hot sun to jog then come back for lessons in proper school uniforms again. There isn't much time for entertainment daily as you are tired out after doing your tutorials and stuff.
As for poly, of cos there are tutorials and projects as well of course. But then tutorials are managable if you did the small bits everyday, and not accumulated them at last minute. Some of my friends liked to copy answers to hand up, then some don't even bother to turn up for lessons or lectures.
Personally, I think, those who don't bother to turn up are just escapists and kind of stupid as well. You pay so much money to go poly just to skip lessons? Somemore, have to buy MC to escape, worth it or not?
In poly, is true you get to meet more kinds of people, as compared to Jc. JC students the most scary ones are those who always do tutorials, do past year exam papers, and do universitiy exam papers as well one. Those kind can freak you up when you study with them. They got tutions somemore, for your information.
As for poly, you get to meet slackers and people who are lost sheep. They have no ideas what to do, no motivations and skip lessons all the times. But still you get to meet some good ones, where they are serious in learning but also good in chatting. During year one, I get to meet some of them and we always do tutorials during our long break times and gossip here and there.
We also share our learnings together, encourage each other and help each other in projects. Good and sad part is we don't get to be together after one semester as our timetables will be different ones, but then we do get the chance at the same times to meet new people. Good also if you don't get to see people you hate lah. Haha. -

Poly life can be relaxing and smooth when you have good timetable, with proper breaks and stuff. But could be hell also if your lessons all fall in wrong timings.
Confirm will get one or two times bad timings lah, like 8 am for lab work, then it means 6 am to wake up.
But then you still get to go home earlier compared to JC or ITE. Sometimes, 2 to 3 hours you go home liao. Song Bo?
As timetable change each semester, so don't worry if you have bad time for once.
Jc timetable don't have much changes, only more makeup lessons only after school!
They arrange like 4 pm stay back for extra lessons and don't forget you have to stay back after school for project meetings as well. Then somemore you need at least 1 CCA!
Poly hard part is meeting for projects lah as especially when your group members all have different time slots. But then it is time management matter and poly you don't really need CCA points unless you want to go Uni lor. -

Ever since I'm in NP, I never felt slack before.
I had been undergoing stress.. that my health worsened.
less than 2 months left at NP, but I still got 8 projects on hand!!!

If you determined to go JC, then don't get yourself into relationships.
You don't have time for relationships lor.
4 out of 5 of my JC friends, they don't have much free time to go out with steads, then end up breakups or quarrels.
As I said before, holidays are not meant to enjoy one, meant for further practising of exam qns and studying harder to pass.
The panic is there when you know you can't make it lor.
Maybe you can pass somehow in the end, but then if your results not good enough, you think you can make it to Uni???
One of my friends is in relationship, then suffered badly, didn't do well in exams and tests, undergo depression when results are very bad.
Now she needs consultation somemore lor. -

As long as you do your tutorials, listen to lecture, and do finish project, confirm can pass one lor!
Holidays come liao, no need to do homework, can go work or slack all you like. In fact, I grow fat when I in holidays everyday watching anime and going out to watch movies. -

even if got holiday also very short.. u stress for so many mths then holiday.. it's like not enough lor..
this coming holiday i so called graduate liao..
but might need to go back for my integrated project presentation..
i think there's no guarantee that as long as one listen to lecture, do tutorials and projects, he will pass.. there are other factors that might affect one's grades. -
Sian sia i now secondary already stress liao lor... my mother keep want me go TJC now i no choice but to pia 6 -8 hours a day liao zz...

Everytime I go see doc, they ask me which sch im from.
I told them NP BUSINESS.
Their reply is always 'very stress'.
