1) cant be bothered
2) paiseh la later the person in front of me hear my croaky voice
3) busy busy busy thinking about what homework never do, buy what for gf later haiya so busy sing what national anthem
4) nobody sing so if i sing pple will look at me and i will be the weird one
5) im migrating next month!

hmm.. national anthem.. in sec sch, when i feel like it i would sing along.. that time sec one, music teacher taught us the correct way to pronounce each and every word sia.. it's not as if we all would guai guai and sing everyday leh.. haha!

Same. When i'm in primary school i used to sing it loud and with excitment. But when in secondary school. i just chose to keep mum about it.
But now as a young adult, suddenly i sing it with pride and and excitment back again. Maybe too long never get to sing it liao.. -
Sadly, after watching the world cup I have come to realize that most countries out there have national anthems that are far superior to our national anthem. The ones for England, Portugal and France are the kind of national anthems I would be proud to sing. Theirs is just so epic, while our national anthem is boring in comparision. The fact that our national anthem is in Malay certainly don't help things (Not that I have anything against Malays, but it's hard to appreciate it when it is in something I don't understand).

France one is good but their players never sing during the Finals, so they lost. to change it now... its like telling the whole world.. we do not care abt our sovereignity. The Flag, Crest, National Anthem is a sacred entity within our country.

This country is focked-up.
But I sing it anyway. Not out loud, but I make a conscious effort in my heart and mind. And yeah, I move my lips ever so slightly to the lyrics. -
