Actually, even u dun feel like singing, just stand in attention lar... wth, i see ppl when national anthem being played, the person like looking around to find out where the music come from ...
And, even u dun sing and dun stand in attention, pls dun insult ppl ...
"Hey, look, he is the only one singing ...somemore montone one" ...
Knn, feel like bashing these ppl up ...
And, ya, i was that monotone singer ... -
Our national anthem was composed for the feminine or higher pitch voice. I remember they have to lower the octave or something a few years back 'cos the notes are a little high.
Contrast with the French national anthem, composed for the masculine voice. -
Despite not in school since 1 year back, I still sing the National Anthem and say the Pledge out with pride.
Still can remember that while I'm still in school and inside Boys Brigade, everytime I'll look forward to Founder's Day and National Day cause this is when I'll be able to march in smartly and sing the Anthem and say the pledge with pride. The best feelings I have when I'm in uniform.

when I was in sec school that time got one guy very funny, he was from the choir, and every morning he sing national anthem damn loud and got vibrato some more. everyone else is mumbling and this guy like that, I find it very amusing.

MY JC NO SCH SONG LEH!!! Ok, actually got a unreleased offical one and a unoffical one. School likes the offical one cos it is by some big head, the students like the unoffical one. I think they take their money and zhao while us regular singaporeans are made to fight to the death (cause we no foreign properties )
then again, it would be a blessing because once again we would have a singaporean singapore rather than a singaporean minister singapore
