Have it occurred to you that the US civilians indirectly voted their current party in and this party is in favor of going to war every now and then? If the party is not so warring in nature, the civilians won't get hit by others as their party will practise a non-violence policy. Whoever say US muz step into every single conflict in this world? They view themselves as world policeman?
What about those who vote the other party? Do they get any reprieve? What about those who voted Bush in because he MAY be able to help create jobs and security? -

Now going to war seem a strategic political move. On one hand, you can demonstrate your power, on the other hand you help to keep unemployment rate down and if luck has it, lesser mouth to feed on scarce resources. Now tinkin back I really admire this kind of politics style -

But in the end, govt tells us no one owes us a living, they create jobs for FTs (skilled and unskilled) and many flats have not been upgraded (my area under p@p still doesn't have lifts that stop on every level).

it's because this is just a propoganda war for israel. They're masters at manipulating the world view on these things.,, They're bombing the country demanding that they get their two soldiers back.... Knowing full and well that if they continue to bomb the soldiers will not come back alive. Then they can point fingers at the terrorists for murdering innocent soldiers....

I also don't know why the Hizbollah pick a fight with Israel... For 6yrs the Israel never bother them, Beirut was prospering. Israel also never go and intentionally provoke Lebanon butt they still want to attack Israel.
The Hizbollah know that they attack Israel sure lose one and most probably be at the wrong end of a Israeli missile. So, coward as they are, they choose to hide behind civilians and use them as shields. And when the Civilians die, they scream and shake their fist at Israel then go on TV crying and kpkb.
So funny, when Israel assassinate the leaders of the enemy alone, they kena so much flak from the UN, say its unethical. But when they bomb enemy troops, they say don't bomb coz will affect the civilians. I wonder how the countries that kpkb the Israel will say when their own city kena suicide bomber. They will so kind say lets sit down and talk ah.
If your platoon under attack by some enemy hiding in a crowd of civilians, would you order your troops to fire knowing that you will kill the enemy as well as some civilians or, would you for the fear of hitting the civilians ask your troops to hold fire and looking at your platoon mates die one by one under enemy fire.... Go figure. -

There are always Rockets from Lebanon small terrist groups. I am sure no country will stands this. Can anyone stands people keep throwing rotten eggs at you?
Israel return fire is pretty common action for any country under rockets. But I feel Israel have used too much force. If want to use big forces, make sure to wipe out all the threats once & for all. Civilian are just down on their luck which are caught between fires. They do have a choice to move out once there is fire.
News are not all true. Same goes to death amount in wars. Everyone will paint their own storys to their own benefits, even my office colleague kekekeke...
Don't think the conflict will end soon. Maybe after 2~3 generations have died without expanding land & without rockets thru out this time.
