Nope those HDB shops are too small scale to provide own shop add-on warranty like Gain City does. And u know nowadays electrical appliance very easy spoilt. You made one phone call they charge you transport just to take a look which is easily S$25. Then repair another charge. So buying a warranty help to save cost a bit.
Unless Gain City business close up the add on warranty is a catch. The price they offer are competitive too. If buy a lot they can give more discount. Best is they willing to test the DVD player with my pirated disc on the spot in a small corner hahaha.... I am a happy customer with them
Someone complained Akira DVD player cannot play his burned disc elsewhere? Hahhaha... he buy from wrong company lor -
I don't need those extended warranty - it's just their way of making extra money from customers.
