firstly, I do admit being a IT person, when i go for IT shows, I would rush to get the freebies.
however, later when i sort them out, I gather 99% are asking me to throw money and only 1% are useful.
nowsadays, I do try to control myself, and only get things that are really nice and useful.
my hands up to admit my KS nature.

I admit this is indeed an ugly act of singaporean! But i got witness before westerner like Australian going for bridal gown discount,queing up for a day outside and charge in to grab discount like cat fighting which include stampede as the crowd is too ferocious!
American charging into car garage to grab those discount second car like mad dogs which is worst than i ever encounter in sg.
Spaniards rampage thru strews of clothes in a Zara boutique in Madrid which resembles more like a Rubbish collection center than shops which are some of the ugly scene which is happening around the world and not only restrict to sg? What makes sporean different from others???? So you think sporean is only capable of such things?
I know alot of sporean complains abt singapore bad road behaviour but I can tell you u will witness worst than here when u enter countries like Malaysia to drive! Thailand road is just like F1 playground. And India horrible traffic planning which road courteous is zero! Singapore traffic condition and behaviour is consider far,far,far better than what i mention.... -

I dun know much about the western countries, but when i was in bangkok, this is what i noticed: the traffic conditions and layout of the roads were expectedly worse than S'pore, but the drivers seemed much more patient (or perhaps resigned haha) & courteous. I remember once , Milo was giving away a 1kg new lauched Milo , and one customer of mine actually took my cab from Bukit Merah to Suntec City to Q for a tin of Milo !
The fare : $6.60 , ERP $2 , Peak Hour $1 = almost $10 , he spent $10 and Q , where i spent maybe $8 at Sheng Shiong , only need to Q at cashier .

Another bizarre story , when I am in salesline , back at 2000 ? Courts at Plaza Singapore just newly open , and they got new opening promotion , and their biggest buzz , a $1 pillow !
I thought , okay , $1 pillow , maybe not attractive enough to grap awareness .
How am i wrong , the staff told me some front customers waited as early as 6am for this $1 pillow !

Dude, you are right by saying there is very poor traffic planning in most of India but u r extremely wrong about the courteousness part man.. Trust me.. I have stayed there for more then 10 years.. =) You would have only seen for a few days.. I have seen it for years. Courteousness is way better in India then compared to Singapore. In fact the point of comparison doesn't arise.
