Wheelchair bound woman forcing people to buy tissue

Ok this is what happened. On 2 ocassions, 2 of my friends have been 'forced' to buy tissue from the similar wheelchair bound old woman. This is a rough idea of their conversation.
old woman: xiao di di! you buy tissue already?!!
friend: ... (no words came out of their mouths)
old woman: you haven buy?!? You must buy arh !?!
then she threw 3 packets of tissue on the table and my friends LL gave her the money.
- She's at XXX mrt station almost everyday. According to my mom, she lives in a 3 room flat, she lost 1 of her leg in an accident because she jay walked.
- My aunt saw her eating lunch costing $3 plus (she mumbling to herself saying they gave so little side dishes for what she paid). If she had to come out to earn a living selling tissue, do you think its logical of her spending $3+ on 1 meal when some other people with financial difficulties only eat 2 meals a day?
- A straits times reader also wrote to straits times complaining about her.

I don't think anyone can force anyone to buy something especially if its one leg less. Ur frens are either too weak or to submissive. I see who they are before doing a kind deed.

how much she selling the tissue paper? $10 for 3 packets is it?
don't think so right? most of those tissue-paper-seller i've encountered
usually sell 3 packets for $1.
still expensive by supermarket standard lah...
but if can help, help lor... it's only $1 mah.
you think it's easy work going around selling tissue paper arh?
if you buay song then don't buy lor. don't think they will point knife at you right? -

Sometimes you can pity them la.. old, blind and handicapped, give them a dollar. Put yrself into their shoes, if you like that, cant work to feed yrself would you go ard sell tissues to earn some cash??

She's a regular there, my male colleague knows that, if he bumps into her while lunching, he will give her a dollar irregardless, just so she won't pester him anymore.
